Spring(hot springs)
/SPRING/
Summary
A natural source of water issuing from the ground, or the season of new growth between winter and summer.
☩As Water Source
Springs were vital in the arid land of Canaan, giving names to many locations like En-gedi ('spring of the kid') and En-rogel. A 'troubled spring' symbolizes a righteous man falling before the wicked; springs sending forth both sweet and bitter water represent inconsistency.

☩As Season
Spring is the time of new growth and beauty, described in the Song of Solomon: 'The winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth.' The annual return of spring was promised while earth remains: 'While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest... shall not cease.'
