Midianite King

Zur was one of the five kings of Midian who were slain along with Balaam when Israel executed God's vengeance against Midian for the incident at Baal-peor. He was the father of Cozbi, the Midianite woman whom Zimri brought into the Israelite camp and who was slain by Phinehas.
