Piltai was a priest who represented the house of Moadiah during the time of Joiakim the high priest after the return from Babylon.

Priestly Representative

Piltai served as the representative of the priestly family of Moadiah (or Maadiah) during the high priesthood of Joiakim son of Jeshua. This was in the generation following the return from Babylonian exile.
