Summary

Maadiah was a priest who returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel, also known as Moadiah.

☩Identity

Maadiah appears in the list of priests and Levites who returned from Babylonian exile with Zerubbabel and Jeshua. The same person is apparently called Moadiah in a later list recording the priestly houses during the days of Joiakim the high priest.
