The Call to Decide

Scripture calls for decisive commitment to God. Joshua challenged Israel: 'Choose you this day whom ye will serve.' Elijah confronted Israel: 'How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him.' Jesus declared that no man can serve two masters.

Steadfast Perseverance

True decision includes continuing steadfastly. Paul exhorted believers to be 'stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.' The writer to the Hebrews urged holding fast the profession of faith without wavering. Those who endure to the end shall be saved.

Examples of Decision
