Key verses:1 Chronicles 8:7

The Garden of Uzza

Uzza was apparently the proprietor of a garden in which Kings Manasseh and Amon of Judah were buried. The 'garden of Uzza' is mentioned as the location of Manasseh's burial 'in the garden of his own house,' and Amon was also buried in his sepulchre in this same garden. Some scholars suggest 'Uzza' may be a shortened form of 'Uzziah,' possibly connecting this garden to the earlier king.

A third Uzza was the head of a family of Nethinim (temple servants) who returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel after the exile.
