☩Joseph Barsabas
Joseph Barsabas, also called Justus, was one of two men nominated to fill the apostolic vacancy left by Judas Iscariot. Having accompanied Jesus from the baptism of John through the resurrection, he was considered qualified to be a witness. When lots were cast, Matthias was chosen instead.
