Descendant of Manasseh

Ulam was the first-named of two sons of Sheresh in the Gileadite posterity of Manasseh, and the father of Bedan. His family line is traced in the Chronicles genealogies.

Another Ulam was the first-born of Eshek, a descendant of King Saul through the line of Benjamin. His descendants numbered one hundred and fifty valiant archers, described as 'mighty men of valor' who were skilled bowmen.
