Summary
Haziel, meaning "vision of God," was a Levite of the Gershonite family who served in David's organization of Temple worship.
☩Levitical Service
Haziel was a son of the Gershonite Shimei and a chief of the family of Laadan (Libni). He appears in the detailed organization of Levitical duties that David established near the end of his reign in preparation for the Temple his son Solomon would build.
