To whom God has come, or God has come

Summary

One of the sons of Heman the singer, appointed to lead the twentieth division of the Temple musicians in David's time.

Temple Musician

Eliathah was one of the fourteen sons of Heman the Levite singer, appointed to the Temple music service in David's time. With twelve of his sons and brethren, he had charge of the twentieth division of the Temple service. The name means 'to whom God has come' or 'God has come,' perhaps expressing the parents' sense of divine visitation at his birth.
