Summary
A leader, probably a priest, who stood at Ezra's right hand while he read the Law to the people and later sealed the covenant with Nehemiah.
☩Identity
Anaiah was one of those who stood on Ezra's right hand on the wooden platform while Ezra read the Law to the assembled people. He is probably the same person who later joined in signing the sacred covenant as one of the chief Israelites in Nehemiah's time, around 410 B.C.
