Summary

The prince of the tribe of Naphtali who led his people during the wilderness wanderings and made the tribal offering at the dedication of the tabernacle.

Leadership

Ahira the son of Enan served as the hereditary prince and representative of the tribe of Naphtali during the exodus from Egypt. He assisted Moses in the census of the Israelites and commanded the tribal host when the camps were on the march. Naphtali occupied a position on the north side of the tabernacle alongside Dan and Asher.

Tabernacle Offering

On the twelfth and final day of the dedication offerings, Ahira presented Naphtali's contribution for the service of the tabernacle, including silver vessels, a golden dish filled with incense, and various animals for burnt offerings, sin offerings, and peace offerings.
