Summary

The pinnacle of the temple was a high point on the Jerusalem temple where Satan tempted Jesus to throw himself down.

The Temptation

During Christ's temptation in the wilderness, Satan took Jesus to the pinnacle of the temple and challenged him to throw himself down, quoting Psalm 91 about angelic protection. Jesus responded with Scripture, declaring it wrong to test God.
