Summary

A town in the district of Shalisha from which a man brought provisions to Elisha.

Biblical Reference

Baal Shalisha was located in the district of Shalisha, apparently not far from Gilgal. A man from this place brought twenty loaves of barley bread and fresh ears of grain to Elisha during a famine, which the prophet miraculously multiplied to feed a hundred men with some left over.
