Sotai was a person whose 'children' constituted a family among the descendants of Solomon's servants that returned with Zerubbabel from Babylon. The name means 'my turners' or 'changeful.' Like others of Solomon's servants, his descendants retained their ancestral identity through the exile and are listed among those who helped rebuild the community in Jerusalem.
