Shobai

Shobai was one of the heads of the Levitical family of doorkeepers (porters) of the temple whose descendants returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel. The family is listed alongside other doorkeeping families such as Shallum, Ater, Talmon, and Akkub. The name may mean 'glorious' or 'taking captive.'
