He is listed twice in the genealogies of Chronicles, both in the initial genealogy of Benjamin and in the parallel list following the return from exile. His name, meaning 'valued of Jehovah,' reflects the continuing faith of Saul's descendants despite their diminished status after the dynasty ended.
