Summary

Parosh was the ancestor of a family that returned from the Babylonian exile and participated in rebuilding Jerusalem.

Post-Exilic Family

The family of Parosh returned from Babylon under Zerubbabel and later under Ezra. Some members had taken foreign wives and were required to put them away. One descendant, Pedaiah, helped rebuild the city walls, and others sealed the covenant of Nehemiah.
