Noadiah was the name of a Levite who helped weigh the temple vessels after the exile, and also of a prophetess who opposed Nehemiah.

The Levite

Noadiah was a Levite, the son of Binnui, who was among those who weighed the silver, gold, and vessels of the temple that Ezra brought back from Babylon. He helped ensure the proper accounting of these sacred treasures.

The Prophetess

A different person named Noadiah was a prophetess who, along with other prophets, attempted to intimidate Nehemiah during his work of rebuilding Jerusalem's walls. Nehemiah prayed that God would remember her opposition and the attempts to make him afraid.
