Nehushta was the mother of King Jehoiachin of Judah and was taken captive to Babylon along with her son.
☩Identity
Nehushta was the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem and became the wife of King Jehoiakim of Judah. She was the mother of Jehoiachin (also called Jeconiah or Coniah), who became king at age eighteen but reigned only three months before surrendering to Nebuchadnezzar. Nehushta was among those taken into Babylonian captivity with her son, the king's officers, and the leading men of Jerusalem.
