Son of Asher

Imnah was the firstborn son of Asher and founder of the family of Imnites. He was among those who went down to Egypt with Jacob. His descendants formed one of the clans of the tribe of Asher.

Father of Kore

Another Imnah was a Levite, father of Kore, who served under King Hezekiah as keeper of the east gate and distributor of the offerings. This Imnah lived during the religious reformation under Hezekiah.
