In the New Testament

Emmor is the Greek transliteration of the Hebrew name Hamor ('donkey'), used by Stephen in his speech before the Sanhedrin when referencing the burial place purchased by Abraham's descendants. Hamor was the Hivite prince of Shechem and father of the young man Shechem who violated Dinah.
