Summary

The name of two men in the post-exilic period: one who divorced his foreign wife at Ezra's instruction, and another who served as a chief priest.

Adna of Pahath-moab

One Adna was an Israelite of the family of Pahath-moab who had married a foreign wife after the return from exile. In response to Ezra's reform movement requiring separation from foreign wives, he divorced her in 459 BC, demonstrating obedience to the covenant requirements.
