Christ the Morning Star

Fallen Daystar

Isaiah's lament over the king of Babylon includes 'How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!' The Hebrew word means 'shining one' or 'day star.' This passage has been applied to Satan's original fall from his exalted position.
