Jahzah is mentioned in 1 Chronicles 6:78 as a Levitical city given to the sons of Merari from the tribe of Reuben. It is an alternate spelling of Jahaz (also spelled Jahaza and Jahazah), a significant city east of the Jordan where Israel defeated Sihon king of the Amorites.
