When Jehu executed judgment on the house of Ahab, King Ahaziah of Judah was visiting Joram at Jezreel. As Ahaziah fled in his chariot, Jehu's men pursued and wounded him at the ascent of Gur, near Ibleam. The wounded king managed to escape to Megiddo, where he died.
