Summary
A city in the southern region of Judah to which David sent spoil from his victory over the Amalekites.
☩Location
Athach was one of the cities of Judah in the southern territory, the Negev, to which David sent portions of the spoil he had taken from the Amalekites while he was based at Ziklag. Its exact site is unknown, though some scholars have suggested it may be a textual error for Ether, a town in the low country of Judah.
