☩The Twin Birth
Zarah (Zerah) was one of the twins born to Judah by his daughter-in-law Tamar. During the birth, Zarah put out his hand first and the midwife tied a scarlet thread on it. But he drew back his hand and his brother Perez was born first, becoming the ancestor of David.
