Thamah was the ancestor of a family of Nethinim who returned from Babylonian captivity, also spelled Tamah.

The children of Thamah (Tamah in Nehemiah) were among the Nethinim (temple servants) who returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel. The Nethinim were non-Israelite servants dedicated to service in the sanctuary.
