Identity

Shemaah was a Benjamite from Gibeah and the father of Ahiezer and Joash. His sons were among those warriors who came to David at Ziklag while he was still fleeing from Saul. These warriors were noted for their ambidextrous skill with bow and sling, able to use either hand to shoot arrows and hurl stones.
