An Asherite whose son Ahihud was appointed as a prince to help divide the land of Canaan among the tribes.

Identity

Shelomi was the father of Ahihud, who was selected as the representative prince from the tribe of Asher to assist in dividing the promised land after the conquest. This appointment placed his son among the select group of leaders who worked alongside Eleazar the priest and Joshua to allocate the tribal territories.
