Raddai
רַדַּי/RAD-eye/
“Trampling”
☩Family Connection
Raddai was the fifth of the seven sons of Jesse, making him an elder brother of David who was the youngest. He appears only in the genealogical list in 1 Chronicles 2:14 and is not mentioned elsewhere in Scripture. The name means 'trampling' or 'beating down.' Some scholars have conjectured that he may be identical with Rei, one of David's loyal supporters mentioned in 1 Kings 1:8, though this identification remains uncertain.
