Summary

Phurah was Gideon's servant who accompanied him on the reconnaissance mission to the Midianite camp.

Gideon's Companion

God commanded Gideon to take his servant Phurah and go down to the Midianite camp at night. There they overheard a soldier relating a dream of barley bread tumbling into the camp, interpreted as Gideon's impending victory. This encouraged Gideon to lead his attack.
