Ohad

Ohad was the third son of Simeon listed in Genesis and Exodus, making him a grandson of Jacob.[1] He is included among the seventy who went down to Egypt with Jacob.[1] Notably, Ohad's name is absent from the later lists of Simeonite clans in Numbers and 1 Chronicles, suggesting either that his line died out or was absorbed into another clan.[1] The Syriac version of 1 Chronicles does include a variant of his name.[1]
