☩Return from Exile
The children of Lebanah were among the Nethinim (Temple servants) who returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel (Ezra 2:45; Nehemiah 7:48). The Nethinim, whose name means 'given ones,' were assigned to assist the Levites in the more menial services of the Temple. Their ancestry may have included foreigners who had been dedicated to Temple service.
