A son of Naphtali and founder of the Jezerite clan, listed among those who went down to Egypt with Jacob.
☩Identity
Jezer was the third son of Naphtali, Jacob's son by Bilhah (Genesis 46:24; Numbers 26:49; 1 Chronicles 7:13). He was among the seventy souls that went down with Jacob into Egypt and became the founder of the family of the Jezerites. The name means 'form' or 'imagination.'
