Ispah was one of the sons of Beriah, a chief Benjamite originally from the neighborhood of Aijalon who resided at Jerusalem. The name probably means 'bald' or possibly 'he will be prominent.' He served as one of the heads of his tribe before the Babylonian exile. The name is also rendered Ishpah in some versions.
