Summary

Hodesh was a wife of Shaharaim, a Benjamite, by whom she bore several sons.

Biblical Reference

Hodesh is mentioned in the genealogical records of Benjamin as one of the wives of Shaharaim, by whom he had children in the country of Moab. Her name means 'new moon' or 'month.' She may possibly be the same as Baara, mentioned in the previous verse as one of Shaharaim's wives whom he divorced, with Hodesh being a second name.
