Gazez
גָּזֵז/GAY-zez/
“Shearer”
☩Descendants of Caleb
Two men named Gazez appear in Caleb's family line. The first was a son of Caleb by his concubine Ephah; the second was a grandson of Caleb through Haran, who was another son of Ephah. Some scholars believe these may be the same person mentioned twice, possibly due to textual repetition. The name means 'shearer.'
