Esau's Wife

Basmath was one of Esau's wives, daughter of Ishmael and sister of Nebajoth. She bore Esau a son named Reuel. The genealogies in Genesis show some variation in the names of Esau's wives.

Solomon's Daughter

Another Basmath was a daughter of King Solomon who married Ahimaaz, one of Solomon's twelve officers who provided food for the royal household.
