Sacred Vessels

Bowls were important items in tabernacle and temple worship. Silver bowls were presented by the tribal leaders at the dedication of the tabernacle, each weighing seventy shekels. Golden bowls were used in the temple service, and bowls of various types appear throughout the sanctuary furnishings.
