The descendants of Shimron, son of Issachar, who formed one of the clans of the tribe of Issachar.

The Shimronites were one of the four main clans descended from Issachar, the ninth son of Jacob. They traced their lineage to Shimron, the fourth son of Issachar, and were counted among the families of Israel in the wilderness census under Moses.
