God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. He hides His people in the day of trouble. The righteous cry out, and the Lord delivers them from all their troubles. David testified that he sought the Lord and He delivered him from all his fears. In the world believers will have trouble, but Christ has overcome the world.
☩Purpose in Trouble
Scripture teaches that trouble produces perseverance, character, and hope. Paul learned to be content in all circumstances. Our light affliction works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. God comforts us in all our troubles so that we may comfort others with the same comfort we have received.
