“Ruin”
☩Location
Shihon (also spelled Shion) was a town of Issachar mentioned in Joshua's allotment, positioned between Haphraim and Anaharath. Eusebius and Jerome recorded it as existing near Mount Tabor in their day. Various modern identifications have been proposed, including Khirbet Shi'in northwest of Deburieh and the village of esh-Shajerah north of Tabor, though none is certain.
