Shalim
שַׁעֲלִים/SHAY-lim/
“Foxes”
☩Location
Shalim was a region (Hebrew 'eretz', land) through which Saul the son of Kish traveled seeking his father's lost donkeys. The name means 'region of foxes.' It appears to have lain between the 'land of Shalisha' and the 'land of Yemini' (probably Benjamin), though its exact location remains uncertain.
