Pas Dammim was a place in Judah where battles between Israel and the Philistines occurred, also called Ephes-dammim.

Location and History

Pas Dammim was the site of repeated encounters between the Israelites and Philistines. It is the same location called Ephes-dammim in the account of David and Goliath, where the Philistines camped before the famous confrontation. The name suggests it was a place marked by bloodshed from these battles.
