Netophah was a town in Judah near Bethlehem, home to several of David's mighty men and returning exiles.

Location and History

Netophah was a town in the hill country of Judah, closely associated with Bethlehem. Several of David's mighty warriors came from this town, including Maharai and Heleb. After the Babylonian exile, inhabitants of Netophah returned with Zerubbabel. Levitical singers also settled there.
