'Call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz' (Jeremiah 51:27). Minni was likely the Mannean kingdom in northwestern Iran. These nations, part of the Median alliance, would participate in Babylon's fall as instruments of divine judgment.
