Summary

A camping place of Israel during the wilderness wanderings, near the border of Moab.

Location

Ije-abarim was one of the stopping places of Israel as they journeyed toward Canaan. It was located in the wilderness before Moab, toward the rising sun. From here Israel moved to the valley of Zered. The name means 'ruins of the regions beyond.'
