Beth Haran

Beth-haran was one of the fortified cities on the east of Jordan, 'built' (likely rebuilt or fortified) by the tribe of Gad. It is named alongside Beth-nimrah and is the same place as Beth-aram mentioned in Joshua 13:27. The name does not appear in the prophetic oracles against Moab in Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel.
